Late last night Ruthie sent out an email letting those registered for her upcoming Mystery Show StageIt that it has had to be re-scheduled, she can’t say why but has given the new date for the current ticket holders:

Hey ya’ll just a heads up that I need to re-schedule the upcoming (now even more mysterious) Friday Stageit.

I’m sorry to let anyone down on Friday but it is for a very good reason I hope I can tell you about soon.

You can still catch me on Tuesday evening in my New Moon Circle

Or on Saturday with Lotte Verbeek!

Creation Entertainment Announces Virtual Panel With Ruth Connell and Lotte Verbeek

Much love and hope to see you soon either way!

So be sure to update your calendars and she’ll see you in September for even more mystery.

Ruthie is hosting a fun afternoon chat with some tap and q&a on Friday, June 5 and you can get in the action by buying a ticket to the show HERE on her new official StageIt page. She’s got the show described as:

I’ll tap my way through an original piece of choreography (probably made up on the spot) to an original tune (being composed right now by a mystery songwriter) just for YOU!

I will also have to sit down more often than not and rest as its been 20 years or so, during which times I will pick random questions and give no doubt random answers in return.

How silly can your questions be? Show me your glory friends.

There will be some dubious rewards (listed below) but more than that – a chance to hang out and hit our feet hard on something solid and call it dance.

So – get yours strapped on and get ready to join in and learn.
Tap you degenerates. TAP.

See you there!

Happy Birthday to our fave girl Ruthie! Thank you for having us along your wonderful journey these last two and some years and here’s to many more of them together. I’m SO proud of you and always in awe of how your kindness and love ripples. It’s amazing and so are you. Thank you for always inspiring me to be a better version of myself.

Fans from around the world came together again this year to help raise money in Ruthie’s honour for My Hope Chest, a charity that Ruth supports a lot. We’ve managed to raise 400$ of our 500$ goal so far this year and with that, the grand total fans have raised between last year’s project and this one is almost 1000$! I feel so blessed to be able to be part of such a caring community of fans and thanks to everyone for their time in sharing and donating and helping out.

If you are interested in donating to the project, there are 10 days left: Ruthie’s Birthday Fundraiser – You can also donate to them directly and please consider giving them a follow on their social pages as they’re still a small charity and every follow helps raise more awareness.

ScotWeek thought this to be a wonderful idea and begun to plan not to only to join NYCTW in this event, but also to expand on the idea and offer an entire day of programming set upon celebrating all that ScotWeek and NYC Tartan Week strive to put forth with regards to Scottish culture and it’s peoples – past, present and future.

As the world continues to struggle through the Covid-19 pandemic, many events, including ScotWeek, have found themselves being forced to cancel or postpone in an effort to abide by shelter-in-place orders from city, state and national governments in order to reduce the spread of the virus.

On April 6th, 2020 beginning at 8:00am PST (11:00am EST), we will be broadcasting via Instagram Live (@ScotWeek)  a series of features and interviews featuring our very special ScotWeek guests and friends.  Starting at 12:00PM PST (3:00PM EST) we will then re-broadcast through NYCTW’s as well as our own social media accounts.  Our tentative line-up includes:

★Graham McTavish, actor (Outlander) & ScotWeek co-founder

★Grant O’Rourke, actor (Outlander)

★Louis Fantasia, director & ScotWeek co-founder

★Craig McGinlay, actor (Outlander) – taking questions

★Steve Cooke, musician & ScotWeek co-founder

★Ruth Connell, actress (Supernatural)

★Laura-Marie Nixey, NIXEY

★Claire Campbell, Prickly Thistle

★Kelsey Deanne, actress & ScotWeek Director

★Kyle Dawson, president of New York City Tartan Week

★Cindi McIntosh, Bag Piper & ScotWeek President

And more to come!

It’s the time of year when the entertainment industry gathers in Park City, Utah for the annual Sundance Film Festival and for the first time Ruthie was there too supporting her friends in their feature and short films – and getting in some interviews and events along the way.

One of her stops was the coveted ECOLUXE Lounge, a vetern of Sundance life, and thanks to Carla-Gugino.com, we’ve got 6 HQ photos of Ruthie from her trip.
